[Kuala Lumpur, 28 August 2016] 28 Days (28days.my) is a search platform designed to connect new moms with experienced women who are adept in traditional Chinese postnatal care practices. Via 28Days, moms-to- be can easily browse for and book a care provider, or “confinement lady” before their due date. Those who have the expertise and experience in providing confinement care can also sign up with 28 Days to let the platform pair them with the right client.

The 28 Days search platform was officially launched on August 28th, 2017 (Monday) at Mid Valley Megamall and graced by guest of honour, Mr Neil Foo, Chief Executive Officer of SAME (Secretariat for the Advancement of Malaysian Entrepreneurs). Celebrated model, Amber Chia, and founder of A Cut Above, Datin Winnie Loo, were also there to share their joy of motherhood and feelings regarding postnatal care.

A dedicated confinement care provider online search platform, 28 Days helps moms-to- be find the right candidate for their 28-day confinement period or longer. With a ready list of care providers and nannies, moms-to- be can now browse through and make an informed choice.

Book a Confinement Lady in 3 Easy Steps
1. Register as a member and log in.
2. Click on “Find a Confinement Lady” and browse through the list of care providers.
3. Once you have found someone suitable, click book and follow the instructions on screen to complete the booking process.

28 Days offers essential details of the care providers including their age, years of experience, expertise, the locations that they are able to travel to as well as their profile photo and reviews/ratings. In the event that the client is not satisfied with her chosen care provider, she may request to select another candidate and 28 Days will replace the care provider, subject to terms and conditions.

28 Days Academy was also launched on the same day. 28 Days Academy is a postnatal care training academy and seeks to modernise the concept of traditional confinement ladies or “pui yuet aunties” by re-branding them as certified professional postnatal caregivers. By providing women with skills and subsequently job opportunities, she hopes to improve and enrich lives.
